What is The Viperfish?

The viperfish is a small, fierce deep-sea predator with long, fang-like teeth and light organs it uses to lure prey in the dark.

Through the metaphor

The viperfish hangs in the dark and, the instant prey drifts close, lunges with its long fangs faster than the eye can follow. The ESTP thrives in just that motion—reading a live situation and acting in the moment, before others have finished thinking.

When the chance breaks open it is already committed, turning a sudden opening into a catch with nerve and speed. The ESTP, too, stays sharp when things move fast, alive to the opportunity others freeze in front of.

But a hunter that loves the strike sometimes lunges before measuring the risk. The same boldness that wins the moment can throw it forward without weighing the danger—or make it move on, restless, before the catch is fully secured.
