What is CEO?

A CEO is the top executive of an organization, responsible for setting its overall strategy, allocating resources, leading its people, and answering for its results.

Through the metaphor

A CEO holds the whole organization to a single direction: setting the goal, deciding where the resources go, and taking responsibility when the results come in. The ENTJ leads the same way—naming a clear objective, organizing people around it, and driving the whole group toward it with a will that rarely wavers.

Their strength is direction and decisive drive. Where others hesitate, the CEO makes the call and commits the organization to it. The ENTJ works this way too—strategic and driven, able to turn a vague ambition into a concrete plan and a scattered group into one that moves toward a single goal.

But a leader sure enough to commit the whole company can drive so hard that the people carrying the plan are worn beyond their limits, and push a decision through before the quieter objections are heard. Certain of the goal, the ENTJ may treat dissent as friction to overcome rather than information to weigh—winning the objective, but at a cost no one dared to name.

Through this lens, the ENTJ's strengths come down to the direction that commits a whole organization and the decisive drive that turns ambition into a plan. The challenges grow from the same root: driving so hard that the people carrying the plan wear thin, and treating dissent as friction rather than information. For the CEO to lead a company that lasts, they have to hear the objection before the decision—and count the cost the plan asks of its people.
