Through the metaphor

The rogue never picks the front gate when there is an unwatched window. Faced with a locked door, they have already spotted three ways in that no one else considered. The ENTP looks at any obstacle and instantly sees the angles around it.

A rogue plays with a problem the way they play with a coin—flipping it, testing it, arguing that the trap might in fact be the safest path. The ENTP enjoys poking an idea from the opposite side just to see how it holds, finding the clever route others dismiss.

But a rogue lured by the next glittering vault rarely empties the one they are in. The same restless wit that opens every lock can pull them off before the haul is secured—many schemes begun, few carried home.
