Through the metaphor
A tech lead stands at the front not to claim the work but to shield the team's focus, lifting a struggling engineer toward their best. The ENFJ naturally takes that lead and inspires others to grow.
They read each person—the blocked junior, the overconfident senior—and bind a mismatched team around one shared goal, keeping the group's trust together. The ENFJ likewise weaves people into cooperation with warmth and conviction.
But a lead who unblocks everyone else's work tires first, and may quietly feel that no one ever cleared the way for them. Always carrying the team's load and watching for its approval, they can lose sight of their own limits and growth.
