Through the metaphor
Emerald's green has long been felt to rest and restore the eye, a color of healing and renewal. The ENFJ brings that same warmth to a room—lifting those who had been crouching, sharing the courage to rise, and drawing each person toward their best.
A fine emerald is read not only by its color but by its "jardin"—the garden of inclusions inside, the marks of how it grew. The ENFJ likewise sees each heart's particular history, knows where to offer warmth, and binds scattered souls into a single hope they can trust.
But the stone that gives so much green to everyone else can forget its own need for rest. Always tending others' hearts, the ENFJ may not notice its own running dry—and may quietly feel that no one ever tends it in return.
