What is The Jellyfish?

Jellyfish are gelatinous marine animals that typically drift with a pulsing bell and tentacles; some species, including deep-sea kinds, are bioluminescent.

Through the metaphor

A jellyfish does not fix anything with a stare, yet it senses the faintest current and the shift of warmth around it, glowing softly from within. The INFJ perceives much the same way—catching the feelings beneath the surface that no one has spoken, the quiet currents under what is said.

It drifts not aimlessly but with the current it trusts, its glow steady even in the deepest dark. The INFJ, too, pairs that depth of intuition with an unwavering ideal, giving its quiet light to what it judges truly worth it.

But a body so soft and open feels every change in the water, and a jellyfish has no shell to retreat behind. The INFJ, too, absorbs the moods around it and hides its own, carrying its weight alone until its glow runs low.
