Through the metaphor

The summoner senses the spirits no one else can see and calls them forth into the world. The INFJ reads the same hidden layer in people—the feeling left unspoken, the current moving beneath the surface.

A summoner serves as a conduit, channeling a power far greater than themselves toward a single quiet purpose, holding the party to a vision only they can fully see. The INFJ likewise pairs deep empathy with a steady, long-range sense of where things must go.

But a summoner who is always the conduit pours their own strength out with every calling and rarely asks for any in return. Channeling for everyone else, they can drain themselves to nothing before naming their own need. The INFJ, too, tends to absorb others and keep their own voice tucked away.
